Someone found their voice and they aren't afraid to use it! I met my Cosmo when he was approx. 11 days old and that's all he did that day was yowl. Okay it was a squeaky yowl but he wanted the world to know he existed. When I was finally able to take him home at about 7 weeks old he no longer talked. And he stayed silent except when very upset (hangry mostly). He turned 11 this October and for the last year he has become quite vocal. Still not much more than a squeak but they come much more often. I guess he is now a cranky old man and wants to complain about everything. Thanks, Martini for the smile on my face.
I loved the Sunset Zoo when I was a kid -- it's in Manhattan, home town to Kansas State; there's a lot of limestone in the area so it was used extensively in the zoo -- walls, buildings, even a good-sized relief of a buffalo... it always seemed cooler there in the summer...
was sure this was about Calvin and Hobbes. . .
