"This is my eastern quoll. I call him Fido because Spot is too obvious and a terrible name."

So, it turns out that marsupials are fascinating, diverse, clever and cute! A whole week of 'em is barely an introduction, but a fine sharpener of curiosity...

Thank you, I'm grateful for this, something I wouldn't have looked at myself.

"which you may remember from yesterday’s post on numbats"

I didn't know there was going to be a quiz!

Thank you! It's been a fun, informative, adorable week!

I actually had an idea to put together a periodic quiz based on past posts. If I find the time I still may, so you'd better keep reading, missy ;-)

Luckily, no one but you will know whether you took the quiz and, if you did, how you did. Right, Martini? You aren't part of the surveillance state, are you?

Martini, I've enjoyed Marsupial Madness week! Thanks for all of the cuteness.

Clearly, I was not awake when I first saw the gif because, for a nano second, I thought it was a small spotted horse. By small I mean pony size. When I realized my mistake, I thought "is it because I'm not awake or blind as a bat?" Maybe a combo of the two. Anyway, that quoll is sure cute, especially with those spots which don't look real. It looks like some child's drawing of what spots on an animal look like. Thanks, Martini for a fun week of marsupials!

Damn cute. But you forgot the link to order them - just kidding! But no I want a big batch. They could live in my sock drawer. Thanks for this moment of joy I'm feeling.
