I have a ouija board decorated bathroom. It's the only bathroom in the house where the door closes completely. Still looking forward to my RWNJ MlL needing to go.
My great Aunt Jim ( she hated her name Amelia) was a Spiritualist. My cousin and I spent summers with her and found her Ouija board. When she found out we were using it, she took it from us and cautioned that "lesser" spirits that didn't necessarily have good intentions could be called up with it.
My older sister was really into Dark Shadows and for her birthday (which is in Oct) our parents gave her the Hasbro game that was out then. Our brother joined us for the first try at contacting the spirits but nothing happened. We tried again and this time the planchette started moving! That's when the arguing began: "you moved it!", "I did not, you moved it". It was our brother, of course. We were not frightened because we knew it was fake but that also means it was BORING! Thanks, Martini for the interesting history.

So, "Wonka" manufactures those?
Oh, I overlooked wonk-kitten. I really need to be more observant.
I wanted that to be Wonk-ya. Maybe should have used a clearer font, although I was trying to get closer to the original design.

Oof Lily Dale
She and my grandmother often went to Lily Day.
LOL!
Common misconception is that the name actually comes from those two words combined like that. But no, it was from a seance.
