Coincidentally I had a gyro for lunch yesterday so your gif is appropriate and also making me feel a little guilty. I love lamb but I also love lambs. SIGH. The pictures are great. One trip to Britain included going through Snowdonia. We were on a tiny road in a biggish bus traveling the mountain (gorgeous views of course) when we had to stop. A small herd of sheep had decided to nap on the road! While the driver and our guide tried to get the sheep gently off the road, the rest of us enjoyed the views and the encounter. There you go stirring up memories again, Martini. Thank you.

Oh, what a treat! We too have had to pause in our journeys thanks to sheep or cow blockages. I love that! Well, as long as I'm not in a hurry to get somewhere. That's life in the country--gotta slow down and enjoy life and those moments of pause.

OTOH, my brain keeps singing "Lambert, the sheepish lion" which paints the lambs as little bullies to the poor little lion cub.

"He's still the butt of all their jokes

And takes it on the chin

He's not ferocious like a sheep

But he has a sheepish grin"
