I love these! VM looks kind of stern to me. And PAB is sure that wind turbines cause cancer and kill all the birds-somehow I prefer your lyrical description of them. Thank you
Don't know if you can see what's on youtube: there's a movie with Jennifer Jason Leigh called the Big Picture and it's boring except the opening which is a series of student films-- it's the student film awards night. And those are funny, and hers is so marvelous. So is Kevin Bacon's. He's the winner. (Then it's just a slow movie after that.)
Well I do love thistles and I'm always pushing them, the native kind, because they are such enormous boons to every kind of wildlife esp birds, butterflies, and every pollinator. The reason is that they're magnets to teeny bugs. But you know, people hate them because they think they're monstrous invaders. But that's only true of non-natives. I guess that green yellow paint must be only common to Normandie where I lived long ago. I do so appreciate your awesome work!

I notice you have some very good-looking thistle plants there!
Do the farms still uniformly use that yellow celadon color on their trim? I used to wonder if that was a regulation of some sort. It looks like a good life-- keeping a Glam Fem down to earth!
Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

I love the idea of wind turbines as a "chorus of gentle electrical hums."
