I hope you got to try a Port and Tonic. We were in Porto last June and visited one of the port distilleries where we were served a variety of ports plus the aforementioned drink. We agreed the tawny port was pretty good but P&T was just the ticket for a hot afternoon overlooking the Duro. We would have enjoyed the river cruise too but time was limited.
Those terraced slopes are simply breathtaking; what a lush and beautiful place!

I had a few! It is indeed a nice afternoon sidewalk bar sipper, even in the cooler month when we were there.
We're working on importing the idea to Valencia but it'll never displace Vermut or Aperol Spritz!
Thanks for taking us to a place we would not otherwise go. Quite lovely, and I'm glad I'm not tending vines on some of those hillsides.
God, I know, right?! It's not a job for those with a fear of heights. That, and you have to have good quad and glute muscles.
