Toe Bean Braggadocio
Danny the clouded leopard is handsome... and he knows it!
Meet 5-month-old Danny. He’s pretty proud of his sweet little toe beans, gives you ample opportunity to view them too. Look at him, he loves those beans so much he can’t but help to give himself a little toe nibble!
Meet Kya. She’s one-and-a half and a little bit tired of Danny’s boastful attitude regarding those leopard toe beans. She’s gonna put him in his place with a loving tap of correctness.
Both of these clouded leopard cubs are residents of The Creature Conservancy in Ann Arboor, MI. They’ve been paired as part of the international selective breeding program, designed to help ensure that the genetic line of this critically endangered species will exist for future generations. They have only recently been introduced and seem to be getting along well. Except for that whole toe bean fiasco, that is.
