There's a reason raccoons have masks
The footage from today’s hed gif has been all over the web (you may have seen it!), so I’m not sure who the original poster is (I think that poster has deleted their account, perhaps), but here is one of the earliest posts:
That hungry thief, coming back for one last pawful… what a cheeky little thing! The poor kitties are befuddled. They are also confused about why one would dunk nice crispy kibble in water, but you do you, little raccoon.
That was wonderful. The racoon clearly was worried about the human filming but not worried enough. Grabbing that handful and then running on his hind legs. How else was he going to do it with his front paws full of cat food? Apparently raccoons have no salivary glands hence the food washing. To quote Mrs Krabappel "he thinks he's people!".
