Ferris Buller gets the crowd in downtown Chicago moving with a Beatles lip-sync
Today’s header gif takes a scene from the 1986 John Huges movie Ferris Buller’s Day Off, starring Matthew Broderick as a mischievous teen skipping school with his pals in order to enjoy some fun in Chicago. There is hardly a better homage to Chicago and all of its landmarks, as Huges wanted the movie to be his love letter to the city. The movie features such local landmarks as Wrigley Field, the Sears Town and the Art Institue of Chicago.
Wonkette is also in Chicago starting this weekend in order to bring you the best news coverage on the Internet for next week’s Democratic National Convention. And they are buying beer! If you want to help pitch in and to maybe treat them to a beer too, there’s a button for that!
And for those of you that want to dance along to the gif, I’ve got ya covered.
It still saddens me that that Xtian murdered John. But I like seeing the boys in action!
Ta, Martini. I've never seen the movie, but LOVE the TABS.
