Rollin' Pollin' Pallas's Cat
Marking some territory or maybe just scratching an itch
A wild Pallas's cat (also known as a manul) in the rocky steppes of the Kashmir region was spotted and filmed by wildlife photographer Karamjeet Singh. Our furry friend had to stop to have a few rolls, maybe to take care of an itchy back or maybe to scent mark the area with her cheeks. Or it’s possible that she just wanted to stop and have an impromptu moment of kitty joy. Just because she’s a wild huntress doesn’t mean she can’t show her silly side once in a while. It doesn’t matter, she’s a cat and like all cats she does exactly what she wants. Haters gonna hate, amirite?

Singh has some great wildlife captures on his Instagram channel that you might want to check out too, including some snaps of manul kittens. Click here!
Cats know. They know what to do, and they know when to do it. We humans should take some lessons.
Whoa is it time to break out the Pallas cats? What fresh hells must Tabs hold.
I love love love these furry babies. So wild and fuzzy, and yet so cat like. The look of ‘and what you looking at’ after her roll is the perfect feline look of nonchalance unique to cats caught looking silly everywhere.
