This little guy looking a mite uncomfortable clinging to his perch was filmed by YS Wildlife Photography. They write:
It was our last morning game drive in Masai Mara [national game reserve in Kenya] and our guests wanted to see if we could find Luluka the leopard and her then 2 cubs.
When we arrived in the area, the first thing we saw was this cub, "hanging" on a tall dead tree. The mother was not too far on another tree, busy eating her leftover impala, and the second cub was hiding deep in the bushes.
The reason why they were all scattered and not all together on a comfortable tree was a few lions who chased them an hour earlier and were still patrolling the area.
I felt bad for our little hero, being chased by lions, away from his mom, on a somewhat uncomfortable tree, but he looks like a warrior who's being trained for the real life in the bush...
The photographer specifies that after a while the family of leopards successfully reunited, none the worse for wear. But with some good stories to tell their friends, no doubt.

Before I read the post, I thought the poor baby had climbed the tree but was stuck because he couldn't figure out how to get down. My Cosmo does that sort of thing. Not with trees as he is an indoor cat but other places in the house. His biggest problem is going into closets when the door is briefly opened and getting stuck because the door is then closed. He doesn't even make any noise to let you know he's in there. He just takes a nap. "Wait a minute, when was the last time I saw him?" Then I start searching closets. SIGH. I'm glad the family were reunited. Bad lions picking on their "cousins". Thanks, Martini!
