Based on the language of the poster of this video, I’m assuming this kitty is in Russia. She’s experiencing her first snowfall, and could not be more excited about it. She’s building her own snowman (snowcat?) and she’s almost even got the hang of making snowballs. Look out other neighborhood cats! I think maybe somebody should warn her about making sure the snow isn’t yellow before eating it, though.
Feline progress in snowball-making aside, Guinness World Records states that the largest snowball measures 10.04 m (32.94 ft) in circumference, with a diameter 3.20 m (10.45 ft) and a height of 3.28 m (9.28 ft). It was rolled by students from ASME Michigan Technological University (USA), in Houghton, Michigan on 29 March 2013. While not an official Guinness entry, Frostburg (perfect name for a snowball-making site), Maryland residents rolled an even larger ball in December 2025, measuring 13.31 m (43.67 ft) in height. The Frostburg effort included participants from the entire town: kids with sleds and adults assisting with ropes, plywood and even heavy machinery.
No records have been kept for largest feline-fabricated snowball… yet!
