Fall Goats, But Never Falling Goats
Because mountain goats are sure-footed, get it?
OK, I admit, I’m forcing the joke a little there in the title. But in any event, this was an absolutely wonderful capture by photographer Cody Mayer that I had to turn into a gif. A mother mountain goat shepherds her two little ones up a path through a forest of golden autumnal trees. The young’uns are a little unsure of the photographer in their way, so they opt for the high detour. Worry not, though, they’ll navigate that incline easily; it’s like level 2 out of 10 on the difficulty scale for such agile creatures.
I love how white and fluffy this gang is. They are probably growing in their heavier coats for the winter. No doubt that bright white color will help them camouflage when the snow falls.

Mama goat's like, "We're just going to go around you and everything will be fine, okay? Don't start no sh*t, won't be no sh*t."
Sitting looking at a sheer rock face, there was a white animal. A big boy goat with marvelous horns being casual.
It would be nice if we would stop destroying so many habitats. Our animal friends deserve better.
