We even have coyotes in Chicago. This is not urban myth. I have seen them. And being from the American Southwest, I have seen them before and know what they look like.
What they sound like, too. There's nothing like being out in the desert late on a summer night and hearing, in the distance, the coyotes break into their mournful song. First comes one voice, then one by one, the others join in.
