Chick Overwhelmed by the Catch of the Day

A common tern gives her baby a little bit more than it can handle

Oh my, this eager little tern chick wasn’t quite ready to fully handle that fish that mom caught. “Help, mamma, help!” Those little feet flailing in the air after baby falls over, it slays me! But like a good mom, she picks the meal up, waits for her chick to right itself and tries again a bit more carefully (after giving a slightly exasperated look towards the camera). Eat baby, eat!
